The biggest news this week is that Dublinās Victorian fruit and vegetable market in Smithfield will finally reopen. The Irish Times reported that the revamped market will open in just over two yearsā time, following an extensive refurbishment and fit-out programme with city chief Richard Shakespeare claiming it will ābe far better than the English Market in Cork ā. A bold claim that I really hope will come true.Ā
